Keep striving to grow deeper in your relationship with God and those around you. Love who you are and who you are becoming. And remember, you don’t have to be who you’ve always been. Change is good and it takes time, but it’s so worth it.
“The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours – it is an amazing journey – and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins”~B.M.
Life is messy. It takes turns and detours that can, and will, blind side us. We need to stop making excuses for not living our best life just because things haven’t turned out the way we thought they would. Yes, you can still flourish and bloom where you are planted.
Making peace with your past is essential if you want to live an authentic life. Your past does not define you. Instead, it prepares you for what God is calling you to do for Him. Don’t put it off any longer. Start making peace with your past today.
Just like an onion has layers surrounding a core, so do we. Our core is the essence of who God created us to be~it defines our individuality. The layers represent all the times we’ve compromised that individuality. Peel back the layers and find who you were truly meant to be.
It only takes one person to change your life…YOU! Don’t be the same person you’ve always been, be better! On this Journey Toward Authenticity, each day offers us the opportunity to be better than yesterday. Don’t give up!
All of us have a physical hygiene routine (shower, brush teeth, etc). But do you have an emotional hygiene routine? Far too often we neglect this crucial habit and end up with a poor self-image. Here are 4 easy ways to start yours today!
Join me for a 31-day journey toward authenticity. Together we will delve deep into who we are and how we can be more real with ourselves and others so we can confidently answer God’s call on our lives!
Throughout this 31-Day Series we will focus on four areas where we all can be more authentic: self, workplace, marriage and parenting. My goal is to offer tips, advice, encouragement and some assignments to help you examine where you are on your own journey. You can start anytime, so why not start today?
Do entertain guests or do you hesitate because your house isn’t clean or you don’t think you can host well? When we entertain guests with Christian hospitality, it is as if we are entertaining God Himself.
If someone talks down to you or tells you that you are no good or worthless, don’t believe what they tell you! They only spew that venom out of jealousy because they see something within you that they wished was in themselves.
The struggle is real, isn’t it? You pray, you read the Word, yet God remains silent. It’s so quiet that you wonder if He is even there. I’ve been there many times and to be honest with you, I’m there now.
It won’t be long before you begin to recognize that the journey is worth it because as you become more authentic, burdens become lighter and you’re a happier, healthier version of yourself.
